Reviews:
"Karis displays a precise and elegant touch, his interpretations at all times thoughtfully nuanced. His playing is refined and sensitively articulated, with just the right amount of tempo rubato.” - theWholeNote
“Beautifully performed, and beautifully recorded. That’s what makes this release stand out in a crowded field.” - WTJU91.1fm
“Aleck Karis once again reveals himself the avid proponent of new music or, in the case of Debussy’s Etudes, older path-bnreaking music still in need of being better understood. Karis’ performances endow them all with the vivid life that Debussy intended.” - Atlanta Audio Club
“Aleck Karis plays with a robustness that I think the composer would have applauded and encouraged.” - Performing Arts Monterey Bay
